1.Storage Permission
This is one of the major functionalities of the app as this app is mostly to be used in rural areas and villages where having a proper internet connection is quite challenging . So the user can save their data like Milk Collection , Customer Data , Payment Data , Product-Sell Data and more locally in the device , so it stores files in Internal Storage of the device and when the user has a good internet connection , he/she can upload the backup stored on the device to our server.
While user inputs data any feature , the data is directly stored in 'databases' folder which is not accessible to the user .But the user can extract the database from that folder to a folder in internal or external storage of the device.
This is useful in 2 ways :-
1) If the user uninstalls the app for any reason and if online backup has been taken by the user, the backup can be restored back easily .
2) The user can share us the backup so we can identify and Solve Bugs and Issues.
2.Bluetooth Technology
This application also uses Bluetooth Technology to connect a bluetooth printer and print slips and summary receipts of the customers on a daily or monthly basis.
3.Internet Connection
For Syncing online and uploading data to our servers , the software uses permissions like ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE,INTERNET and READ_PHONE_STATE.
4.Read Contacts
To add Customers automatically from the phonebook , the permission READ_CONTACTS is used.
5.Sending SMS
SEND_SMS and WRITE_SMS are declared because this app sends SMS to the customers of a particular dairy firm everytime they deposit milk, making the working of the overall software transparent. This is one of the most useful functionalities of the application for both the dairy employees and the customers as the weekly and monthly reports can be cross-verified based on this messages.
6.Information Collection and Use
If you choose to use our services, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policies . The Personal Information collected is used for providing and improving the Service. This will not be used or shared with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.For a better experience, while using our Service, I may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Phone number, Contact list , Manage your calls, Send sms , Access storage. The information that I request will be retained on your device and is not collected by me in any way.
7.Log Data
For Customer Support and ease of communication between us and the users , the errors and exceptions which occur during the execution of the app are stored both locally and online so that we can easily identify the problems and provide fast solutions.
8.Security
I value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.
9.Links to Other Sites
This app doesn't use links to any third party sites other than whatsapp , where the user can use whatsapp chat option to directly communicate with the admin of the app.
